Be aware the bottled water in the room is not free. Construction meant there were some disruptions. Also, the slow-close doors need to be adjusted to avoid the disruptive slamming that occurs at late and early hours. "

"It’s Centro Rio. Expect to see beggars and smell bad everywhere. It’s 10 min walk to metro via rundown streets. Staff were not impolite but no greetings nor happy face. Rooms are ok - very basic. "
