"This is a nice base to use when exploring the area. The beach is easily accessed, the indoor pool is good, though a bit warm if you are swimming for exercise, and it is in close proximity to 'restaurant row' in Lorne. The building seems to be well maintained, though is a bit dated. The check in staff were friendly and helpful. Parking is ok. Overall, a good choice for travellers staying in the area for a few days."

"We loved our stay at Qii house, exactly what we needed for R&R together and celebrating Christmas. Being amongst the forest and wildlife was incredibly relaxing. "We arrived later than expected but Beth on reception was very welcoming. Easy parking. Shame we didn’t have more time to stop another day. The motel is so close to Flagship Hill and I highly recommend a visit there. Sadly we were time limited. I could have spent at least another hour there. Fascinating. "

"Loved the ladies and daughter greeting me at reception after a long drive. It was lovely to see their warming smiles and recommendations re dining options on the main strip of town. The hotel is within walking distance to the main part of town for shopping and restaurants. The room was clean with fantastic mattresses and thick comfortable pillows! "The rooms are small but comfortable enough for a one-night stay. The room and bathroom had been updated. The pool seemed unused and a little green, but the lounge area had seating in the common area. The location is walkable to restaurants and shops as well as the beach. "

"This was perfect for our family getaway. The location was great; it was within walking distance of restaurants and the beach. Our stay was perfect, the kids had one room, and we had the other. Small kitchen, table and lounge."

"First thing to keep in mind is that this is a historic hotel. That means shared bathroom and shower stalls. So long as you're OK with that, this is actually a nice spot. Included split system AirCon and TV, both hard to find at a historic location. Onsite food was good and reasonable. Well worth the price paid."
