Good kitchen, open plan living area but we found the main bed was very firm. Our host, Joanna, went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable during our stay. "

"Stayed over for 2 nights here, while attending a large family and community event re my brother who died in April. We were very comfortable here, and the cottage is very attractive, obviously historic. It was super-well equipped with everything you'd need. Easy access from the road, close to the Kohukohu village, and a clear view across the harbour in front. Thankyou for having us, we'd come again if the need or opportunity arose. "

"We arrived to check in after booking our stay in mid August, this was confirmed by Expedia/Book a Bach and our payment taken. When we arrived to check in on 30 December the hotel staff could find no record of our booking. They tried everything to see where our booking was. The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to try and find alternative accommodation for the night. "absolutely stunning property - every one love the facilities - I felt like checking in was more difficult and complex that it needed to be - charged extra for kids to sleep on top bunks - had to send back and additional signed form over and above the usual booking process that I have done many times through book a batch. But great location, handy to Opononi."
