"It was a single unit flat which we liked. It was absolutely good for privacy and quietness. The space inside the flat was very well organised, but small. It is close to the city, but at the same time quite and far from concrete and buildings. It was a pleasant stay, and with the good weather, in spring or summer it should be amazing! We staid in late October and it was rainy, so couldn’t enjoy the full potential of the property. "

"Great apartment but the building is undergoing some massive renovation and there was a lot of noise during the day and construction scaffolds everywhere. Both balconies in the apartment had scaffolding out front so we couldn’t use them and had to keep the windows closed. The area isn’t great, typical university type vibe. Didn’t feel unsafe at all, but lots of graffiti. If we go back I’d probably choose a place closer to piazza maggiorie. "

"We have stayed at this property 2 years ago and was very impressed with the apartment and location. It’s city center and comveniently located around many shops, restaurants, and transportation. If you stay in Balogna and don’t rent a car this place is perfect. It was also clean and comfortable. "

It's very centrally located right next to the main city square with walkable distance to all the main city attractions. "It’s a beautiful old world style hotel. It’s comfy and has great service, also very old fashioned in a good way. Just how you expect a luxury hotel to be. Only problem is its aging and the cleanliness isn’t quite up to par, stuff like some grungy spots in the bathroom, doors that have water damage, etc. I absolutely enjoyed my stay thoroughly though. If they invest a little in renovations and sprucing it up it will be incredible. Id stay there again."

"Phi hotel is right in the heart of the old town, within a few minutes walk to the main square. We stayed at an annexed apartment that's really spacious, with a kitchen, two bedrooms and bathrooms. The is parking for an additional fee, it's very tight and I had to be very careful to get in and out. However, a hotel staff was there to provide guidance which was a big help. We didn't need the car while we stayed at the hotel, and walked everywhere since it's so close to the old town center. I'd definitely recommend this hotel for staying in Bologna."

"This was a surprise stay! Certainly a little older lodging, but very charming and located superbly— 5 minute walk from the train station and a 10-15 minute walk to the historic downtown of Bologna. I was greeted by the friendliest hotel staffer I’ve ever met. Franco was a delight! He was helpful, hospitable, lovely disposition, and very generous with his time and attention. The hotel has all the reasons one would want to return, but Franco certainly seals the deal! "

"Breakfast is incredible and makes this property a great value in a great location in Venice. TV in the room was very small, but we were not in Venice to watch TV. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it as a great location, amazing breakfast, and a tremendous value."

"It’s my second stay at this hotel and I love it. It’s very traditionally Italian so don’t expect sleek and modern. But that’s how I like my hotels in Italy. The location is perfect - right in the historical centre and literally seconds away from great bars and restaurants and all the main sights in Bologna centre. The buffet breakfast is great and the staff really helpful. "
