Noble House in Pacific Coast Highway from NZ$447

"Hotel has a nice location on Mission Bay. Has a good pool and a fun outside bar. It has lots of nice amenities like the fire pits on the beach. We had a two floor suite, which was great for entertaining, as we were there for a wedding. But the rooms are in dire need of some new carpet and paint. We did rent a bike and put it on our patio for the night, which was on the ground floor but to get to it you had to climb a short wall. The bike got stolen, there is a bit of rifraf in the park...

Breakfast was disappointing as it was mediocre food and mediocre service, which is why we rated it “good” instead of “excellent.” Spa services expensive but worth it—spa staff went above and beyond to make our experience (couples romantic massage) enjoyable and luxurious. Our room was at the end of hallway which made it loud with the door opening and closing at all hours. "

"The hotel is nice and you can rent bikes to ride in Hermosa Beach. But we had ants in our bathroom and room. They were nice and offered to change rooms but there were ants there too. We did get $100 credit to use at the restaurant. Nice people but probably older hotel on the water. "
