"Staff were super nice and helpful. Kids loved the pools and proximity to the beach. The 3bd suite we were upgraded to was a bit dated but clean and very comfortable. The breakfasts were great but the rest of the food options weren’t very tasty. Would have loved more simple and loc options. "

"Have been to Canto numerous times and it is wonderful. However it’s showing its age…beds were ok and room very basic, but not there to sit in room all day. "My experience overall was great. The food, in my opinion, was amazing. The mexican food that was available at the buffet was overall satisfying. While I personally would have preferred more mexican cuisine. I understand the various cuisine options. The reason why I did not give this place a 5 star was due to the lack of transportation from and to the airport. Also, upon arrival, we didn't have change or smaller bills. "It’s a dated property but worked for us as all we wanted to do was lay by a pool and do nothing. Our room was good with the AC but the unit was very noisy. They didn’t tell us the WiFi password when we checked in so we had to ask someone else for it. They also didn’t tell us the you have the make reservations at the restaurants at 9:01 am every morning for that night. They only have limited spaces for reservations or you are at the buffet. "Great little resort. Food was good and both à la carte restaurants as well as the buffet always had a great selection. Probably some of the best food that I’ve had at an all-inclusive. Not a ton of seating around the pool but lots of seating on the beach do you need to get down there to save a chair by 9 AM? Staff is great, no complaints."

"Great clean beach area, so many palapas available, great food and drinks service at the beach. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My room was amazing, filled with light and had two balconies, one of them was enormous. What I did not like: the food quality and options need to improve, did not like the buffet this time, the taste was not great and very limited vegetarian options. Also the entertainment needs improvement."
