"Very nice stay"

"Considering how much less it cost than nearby non-resort hotels, I was astounded at how nice this property was. The washer and dryer and multiple bedrooms/bathrooms were excellent, and I was extremely impressed by the cleanliness and condition of the unit. No odors or stickiness or any of the other issues that tend to occur at properties with kitchens. Check-in was easy and the walk to resorts and shops was fine (although there's a section without a sidewalk and the hills might be a bit much for...

"We were very pleasantly surprised at how well run The Whaler is. We weren’t sure what to expect knowing that all of the units are privately owned, but it was run essentially like a hotel, with a concierge desk, front desk, house keeping etc. Everything was very clean, including all walkways, elevators and bathrooms near the reception desk. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with everything. We will definitely be back!"

"Our party of six adults (two seniors, four young adults) really appreciated the warm pool and jucuzzi. We also found the kitchen very useful and well-equipped with a really nice big wooden table perfect for dining and playing cards/board games. "Overall the stay was nice. Property was nice. Staff was friendly. Gift shop was not open. Dining was decent. No coffee service at front desk, that was disappointing, small pot in room that wasn’t kept stocked, no creamer either. Had to go to a restaurant out front for breakfast and it was very expensive. "
