This was our first time to PNW, and we loved it! The cabin is awesome, and when it’s not cloudy you can even see Mount Rainier from the front yard! Cabin was clean, and host was responsive—overall great.

We only had one night but it was perfect for what we needed! Mt Rainier peeking out if you’re lucky to catch it while in the hot tub. Coffee! Thank you for the offerings! . Walked down to the river from public entrance in the morning and it was beautiful. Great location, great communication!

Perfect Little Cabin
Elk Cabin is a wonderful place to stay. It is close to many different Lakes and hikes (in and out of Mt Rainier National Park) and you just couldn’t beat the proximity to the national park. For a nice little swim you could walk or drive just down the street to access the beautiful Cowlitz River. Every restaurant in Packwood was absolutely delicious! We liked how the Elk just wandered through the town. For a nice relaxing day trip, we found the Blue Hole swimming and really great rock hunting spot in the La Wis Wis Campground not too far away. The cold water was so refreshing! Thank you for your perfect town! We’ll definitely be back for some more adventures there.

Good spot for Mt. Rainier
Stayed here with my family of five. Inside was great. Plenty of room and sleeping space for our family. We were about 15 minutes from the Mt. Rainier Stevens Canyon entrance, which worked out well. We would stay here again if we end up back at Mt. Rainier (which is an awesome place to visit).

Such a cute little place! We had everything we could’ve needed. I will say that we were COLD at night and the cabin wouldn’t warm up even if we turned up the temp on the splits. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. You can tell that Will and the cleaners take pride in their locations!

Weekend at the Mountain
My friends and I stayed here so that we could snowboard at the mountain all weekend and it was perfect! The location is exactly where we wanted to be in the center of packwood just right off the main road. The place is super cute and the host takes little details like have a whole charging station with different chargers into consideration. Loved the hot tub, too, of course! It was nice that there was an umbrella covering so we could still enjoy it in the rain. I would definitely stay here again!

Great cabin with all the comforts
Decided to book this cabin for a birthday ski trip to White Pass and I'm thrilled we did. The cabin was close to town, but far enough to experience the quiet tranquility of being by the river. The hot tub was a great feature made all the better by the snow that was falling while we were in it. The cabin was well stocked with all the comforts you could ask for and was very clean. I woupd not hesitate to stay here again the next time I'm in the area.

Best cabin in Packwood!
We have stayed at rentals in packwood for the last 6 years during our yearly ski trip. Although this cabin is smaller than most that we’ve stayed at it was by far the best! The kitchen had good pots and pans and also foil and plastic wrap! The hot tub was 104-105 the whole time which is for some reason hard to accomplish for most rentals in packwood. There is an ample amount of firewood to keep the wood burning stove cranking. We woke up to a pack of elk in our backyard which was so lovely. The walk to the fire pit is giving all the vibes with the string lights and we had the best time toasting smores and drinking wine. The owner is so kind and good communication. We are hoping to stay in this cabin every year! Also, the price can’t be beat! Worth every dime!
