"This was my first trip to Venice and the Hotel Cavalletto e Doge Orseolo was a great location for us to explore Venice from. Like most structures in Venice this obviously is an older building, but it is very well maintained and updated. They also had a very good full breakfast buffet included with the room. My only complaint was there was no hot water on our first morning, but they fixed that as soon as we notified them."

The room was quite small but everything worked fine and suited a weekend stay. Be aware that the hotel is close to the main tourist areas so can be noisy in the evening. Breakfast was a good selection and there is a great view of Ponte di Realto from the balcony."
