"Had a very nice check in, room was great, but afyer I arranged a late check-out, housekeeping kicked me out and said they hadn't been told about it :("

"Great funky historic hotel right on Cuba St. Close to good food and shopping and everything is close by. Breakfast was great and this had everything we needed. We got off the last Interislander ferry in Wellington at 10pm. Quick taxi (10 min) to the hotel and it was another 10 min to the airport. We hung out at the Te Papa museum for the morning before our flight in the afternoon which was perfect and such and amazing museum. The hotel is an easy walk to the museum. So the hotel was great and had everything we needed!"

"Love this place. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but they have what you need. There was a $10 a day discount for not having the room cleaned daily. Easy walk to Parliament, National Archive/Library, and buses/trains. Gricery market is also just around the corner. I will stay again!"
