Bed and Breakfast in Pahoa

"We were greeted upon arrival and got an early check-in which was very nice. There are lots of room options, and our building had a common area with a fireplace. A very friendly young man even can to light it for us! The place uses catchment for showering and out of the tap but supplies bottled water for drinking. I do wish that bottle wasn't located in the bathroom. We had a two night stay and did not get a room refresh although the staff said to just ask and we could get whatever we needed...

"Lovely restored home. Very nice owner and sweet (I believe Japanese) lady prepared and cooked our breakfast. Lots of snacks and refreshments. We were allowed to use an area in the fridge. No amenities in room but, everything we would want or need was just outside our door. Would love to stay again!"

"It's a converted house at the end of a very long driveway. The only issue (absolutely only one) is that the walls aren't especially thick and you could hear people in the next room over. I didn't hear them often but it meant I was worried that if I watched TV I might disturb my neighbors. Otherwise it's a very clean well appointed place to stay. The room is very tastefully decorated and the furniture in good shape. The bed is very comfortable and everything is in good repair and working...

"Outstanding location near Volcano national park with friendly and helpful staff. All of the details were thought of from breakfast to shoe cleaning kit and bathrobes. A book with all of the information you’d need about the property, about the National Park, and about the area was provided. We highly recommend this place if you’re in the area. Perfect place to stay right outside of Volcano National park. "

"Stuart served us fruit from his trees for breakfast. His spacious and well kept back yard overlooks the lovely river that feeds Rainbow Falls. Idyllic."
