"I wanted somewhere in the heart of French countryside that could accommodate a family and a dog. The house was full of character with a huge garden and had complete privacy. There was everything we could possibly need and Jenns was the perfect host. We had plenty of interesting sites to visit by car but also loved spending time at "home" with a bbq and garden games. Loved every minute."

"Lovely old house with some charming foibles and eccentricities. Even developed a soft spot for the robot lawn mower. Great space, 4 bathrooms (2 ensuite), well equipped kitchen (always great to have basics there - salt, oil, herbs etc), great table tennis room, big garden to kick rugby ball. Outdoor bbq plate. "We loved our stay here. The gite is huge - massive large living space, large bedrooms (with very comfy beds) and a big walk in shower with double sink layout. Although the site is shared with another Gite and BandB guests the layout means everyone has total privacy and only the pool is shared. Beautiful gardens out the back - horses to pet in the paddock. So peaceful and calm, we loved it. A little remote - 15-20 mins drive to nearest shops."

There is everything you need provided in the well appointed kitchen. Yann is friendly and on hand to help when/if needed. I would thoroughly recommend if you want a relaxing time."

"We have just spent a wonderful fourteen days staying in this impressive place. It was clean, very well equipped and fit for purpose. The courtyard with covered dining area and “plancha grill” for outdoor cooking were a great bonus. An impressive garden and plunge pool was also most appreciated. "We enjoyed an amazing holiday with family at this fabulous property situated in the very peaceful town of Saint-Sylvestre. The property benefits from being on a incredible plot of land and perfectly located next to village sports courts such as tennis, small football pitch and playground which meant it was perfect for our two lively boys. Ook de buiten barbecue is prima ! Het zwembad is super, wat een luxe om die bij je huis te hebben. In de omgeving is genoeg te zien en te doen , van pittoreske dorpjes tot wandelen en kanoën. De historische hoofdstad Limoges is ook zeer de moeite waard om een keer bezoeken! Wij hebben een hele mooie vakantie gehad !!"

Heureusement, nous avons pu improviser une barrière avec du fil de fer trouvé sur place, sinon nos vacances auraient été beaucoup moins reposantes. - Piscine chauffée, mais en raison d'un incident avec des animaux qui ont endommagé le volet, l'eau n'était malheureusement pas assez chaude pour nous. - Certaines choses mériteraient d'être rafraîchies ou remplacées. - Il y a des objets/vêtements/nourriture appartenant à d'autres personnes dans la maison, que je retirerais personnellement. Points positifs : - Des propriétaires très sympathiques et accueillants. - Avant notre arrivée, nous avions demandé s'il y avait une chaise haute pour enfant, et ils nous ont dit que oui. Cependant, à notre arrivée, ils nous ont informés qu'ils venaient tout juste de l'acheter suite à notre demande. Nous avons trouvé cela vraiment gentil. - L'endroit idéal pour fuir toute agitation. - Très beau jardin. - La maison est équipée de tout le matériel nécessaire. Il ne nous a rien manqué."

"Our third year back at Chateau Jautrudon and the week seemed to fly by again. So much to do on site (tennis, swimming, golf, walks in the woods, games inside) and a few trips out (canoeing in Le Blanc, VeloRail at Chauvigny). Nice to see a few improvements in the kitchen plus the addition of a swing and basketball hoop."

"Everything and everyone were great at the Hôtel Emeraude. We were welcomed warmly, told where the room was which was bright and spacious and had air-con which was a bonus as it was a hot day. We were advised on where to park, breakfast and dining options. The area around the hotel is gorgeous and there is a lovely view on the lake from the terrace where we had dinner. I wouldhappily stay there again."
