"A pleasant place. No pretensions but clean enough and comfortable (I stayed in the hotel, not the motel, so I don’t know what the motel rooms are like). The staff were welcoming and helpful. The restaurant was surprisingly good. The hotel is a little way outside the cbd so only convenient if you have a car. "We really enjoyed our stay. The unit was big & well set up. Quality furnishings & very clean. Very comfortable. This has to be without a doubt the best motel I have ever stayed in whilst travelling around NZ. Great value for money. So close to a great park & easy walk to the CBD & supermarkets. "

Probably the best place to stay in Invercargill.

"The Langlands is undoubtedly the premiere place to stay in Invercargill. Our room was excellent: modern, clean and comfortable. We also used the hotels own gated parking area which worked well for us though there are public car parks within easy reach. The hotel has a range of dining options though we were surprised to find that only two of them opened every day of the week. We also had breakfast in the hotel which was tasty and service was good though not as polished as that provided by the reception staff we would not hesitate to stay at the Langlands again."
