"This is a beautiful villa. The layout is perfect, the upstairs double aspect main suite with sea view was gorgeous. Beds are comfortable and clean and everything you need for your holiday was there for you. We found that it was surface clean but could have done with a deep clean, as could the pool which was sticky round the edges but then it was end of season. The chairs on the balcony were in very poor condition. We paid extra for the villa to be heated (and for the pool) for our Christmas...

A wonderful winter stay

"We had a five week winter stay at Chilbury and we loved every minute of it.The villa is equipped with everything you could possibly need and want. The location is perfect for walks or venturing out by car or hopping on the local bus service available.Local amenities including bars and restaurants are nearby.Even if you wanted to spend days at the villa there is ample seating/sunbeds/bbq/pool area to enjoying the sunshine. Come the evening is the bonus of sitting on the upstairs terrace enjoying the wonderful Cyprus sunsets with a glass of vino. And not forgetting Louise who is the perfect host to make sure your stay is everything you could possibly want. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this property. It’s modern, clean and comfortable. The kitchen is very well- equipped for self catering purposes. The beds are great. The garden area is well maintained and the view lovely. The house is out of the main tourist areas and in an excellent location for visits to see some of the island. We hired a car for most of the stay and is very useful. We did have a bit of difficulty in locating the property in the dark on the first evening, as the signs for the complex are small. "Enjoyed our stay here. It's a smaller hotel (compared to the Coral Beach next door), so it's much quieter, especially as there are no children. The room was clean and comfortable, as was the rest of the hotel. The outdoor pool area was really well maintained and the staff were very attentive (perhaps a little too attentive?). However, the indoor pool looked a little 'tired', looking like it needed some attention. The breakfast buffet was varied and well-prepared. The hotel restaurant for evening meals, despite being very good, was at the expensive end at around €100 for two people for a two-course meal with wine. The local beach can be reached from the hotel, and there are plenty of other places to each or drink within a few minutes walk, or a 20-minute walk into the local town."

Excellent location for the bars and restaurants on Coral Bay strip and easy walk to the beach. Andy from PPS recommended Laourou Beach over coral bay. Great beach and excellent for snorkelling. Plenty of excellent restaurants. Our particular favourites were Les Amis, Phidias tavern and Corallo. This was our first visit to Cyprus but won’t be our last. We can highly recommend Villa Lucas."
