Cabin Escape is located at 123 Cub Rd, Rockton PA in Clearfield County. This home has 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. The home sits on 9 private acres with 2 fire rings, private pond and 2 porches. There is a zipline for kids and small adults that goes across the pond. There is a slack line between 2 large trees along with a playset to enjoy. Catch and release is appreciated from the pond. The coy fish won't eat bate but they love fish food pellets. The basement has a bar area with second living room and additonal fridge. The half bath in the basement sits next to the washer and dryer. The owners provide starter paper products and garbage bags as well as cleaning supplies and firewood. There are games and movies provided. 2 Smart TVs and free WIFI. AC in all bedrooms. There is one pack and play and one highchair. Linens are an additional charge of $10 per guest per stay. There is a $109 insurance fee for this home that covers $2500 worth of damage. Please report any damage caused during your stay.

Great Family Vacation

Surrounded by nature, roomy, perfect for families.
It's a beautiful cabin, with many amenities, clean and roomy enough for a group. The zip line across the pond was fun. This was perfect for staying put, cooking in, and spending time together as a family. We did have a nice afternoon hike, trails are very close by. We celebrated my daughters 30th birthday here. Michelle is very gracious, thank you for a memorable weekend.

Beautiful setting
We loved the cabin. It was a very convenient location while being secluded. We have owned vacation rentals and rented many. I brought cleaning supplies and other paper goods but didn’t need them. Everything was provided which is unusual but nice surprise. We hope to rent this cabin again next year.

Family weekend
It was a very beautiful area. There was a large yard and many things to do. The communication was great. It was close to town but felt like you were in the middle of no where. Pond was a bit smaller than I thought but the other pictures of the rooms didn't show how big they were. The master bed was very comfortable and the shower was beautiful.

Relaxing getaway
Beautiful clean cabin and property. This is a beautiful area to relax and enjoy nature. The cabin was smaller than I expected from the pictures but still plenty of space and beds for all of us. The basement was wonderful for entertainment and game playing. We hiked at Parker Damn State park which we all enjoyed. The park seems to be a nice place to fish and swim in the summer months. Fished in the small pond at the property. Enjoyed grilling and playing outdoor games in the large yard. Would definitely recommend for family and friends who want to just getaway and enjoy family time together.

Get back to nature
We liked the description that we saw online for this cabin in the PA Wilds. Rustic yet modern. Secluded yet convenient to nearby locations with plenty to do or just relax. We enjoyed riding our quads on the trails adjacent to the property, seeing wildlife, fishing in the pond and the kids really enjoyed the zip line. We especially appreciated being able to bring our dogs along. They enjoyed the pond too! At night, it was amazing to see all the stars and listen to the frogs "talk" to each other. This cabin easily accommodates families with children, a group of friends or a romantic getaway for two. This was our first stay but it will definitely not be our last. Thank you Michelle and Michael for our wonderful stay.

Nice winter weekend getaway!
Our group loved the stay at the property! A few of our favorites: such a beautiful location (especially in the winter), plenty of fridge/freezer space, the fireplace & the coziness it brought & that there was plenty of firewood available for the entire weekend! Just something to keep in mind—the kitchen had very little cabinet/drawers space to store groceries (that won’t go into be fridge/freezer). There is a downstairs bar area; however, we weren’t going to run back and forth to get groceries. Also, the dishwasher was not working for us. Overall tho, it was a very cozy and cute home!

Setting is beautiful
Our family had a great time at Cabin escape however there were a few concerns. There was some difficulty getting responses to questions we had before our trip and had to call the VRBO help line. Once that was initiated the host was very responsive. We had a concern about the cleanliness of the bathroom and I had to clean out the shower before using it. There were a few things not in working order. The biggest frustration was that the half bath in the basement was not working and that was quite inconvenient for the people that slept in the basement, since the main floor bath is a master bath during the night if the bathroom was needed the people sleeping in the basement had to go up to the 2nd floor bath. We really count on minimum of 2.5 baths when our family ( 8 adults and 2 children) books a vacation house. It also would have been nice for that information to be given to us before we read a note on the toilet that said Do not use. The grill was workable but very dirty (which we cleaned) and the ice maker and water dispenser on the refrigerator did not work. We had the idea that the pond was swimming friendly but it was very dirty and noone felt comfortable to swim in it. None of these issues changed the fact that our family had a wonderful time. The grounds are beautiful and very fun for the kids. Great time around the fires at night and the privacy was fantastic. S B.

This cabin was perfect for our weekend friend trip. There were 13 of us and fit comfortably! We had issues with the internet/WiFi but otherwise everything was great. Clean and perfect for a weekend away!
