We loved staying here. On our road trip we stayed at 5 different hotels and this one was our favorite. When we arrived we were greeted by Tishanna. She was so nice and helpful. My 5 year old loved her and we had to look for her every time we came to the lobby. There was live music, free popcorn and cookies in the lobby. The free breakfast in the morning was wonderful. Our room was cleaned the second day, we had a balcony over the river and had fun feeding the ducks and geese. Great experience, would stay again.

The overall property was very nice. I had never stayed in the hotel before and picked for the amenities, but once checked in got our room, not like picturesor description. I wanted a king bed and a queen. Lower level rooms. Rooms were way smaller and a little incontinent for my dad and they didnt have any more rooms. I had specifically chose this hotel for the space so i thought. The hot tub was as cold as the pools and the firepit wasn't working. So no sittting out and relaxing as we had planned. The hotel offered nothing for the inconvenience and everywhere was booked. Overall the hotel would have been great of i uad gotten what i expected. The hotel was very clean so that meant something.

We have no complaints. The balcony view to the river was worth the little extra. They really go out of their way with the breakfast and popcorn every evening. We will definitely keep The Inn on the river as a great stay in Pigeon Forge.

The Inn on the River. We made this reservation well in advance. We absolutely loved our experience at The Inn. When we checked in the staff was amazing. They provided a nice gift to our daughter and the hospitality was fantastic. We liked the proximity to other venues in Pigeon Forge (be patient with traffic). They have two pools at the location (one inside and one outside). We enjoyed the indoor pool the first night (did not go back after as our child did not have googles and the chlorine was definitely noticeable when you walked by). They had a very nice hot breakfast that featured many items to chose from. Loved their outdoor seating and nice view of Pigeon Forge and the Mountains. The rooms were clean and spacious. The only item we were a little upset about (but, out of our control and not at fault of the hotel) was the take over from the baseball teams (their was a big tournament in town). They completely took over the entire hotel. I understand they need rooms but would have been nice for the hotel to notify or give a heads up to the other families that were there that “just FYI, a large group is coming in this weekend”. Overall, the staff was fantastic. We would definitely consider staying again (but looking to see what big baseball events are in town). Highly recommended staying at this hotel.
