"Seven family members stayed at the RIU Palace Guanacaste. Three of us had birthdays and the rooms were updated and decorated. We had a Junior suite that was had alcohol dispensers, a fridge with drinks, a mini jacuzzi and king bed with a lovely veranda overlooking the pool and partial view of the ocean. Overall the room was clean and well kept. The resort is absolutely beautiful and the view was amazing. The shows were great, top shelf liquor and multiple restaurants. We enjoyed the Italian restaurant and the buffet restaurant the most-great selection of food, fruits and drinks. This was our first time at a RIU resort and we all absolutely loved it. We were able to do some side tours for horseback riding, ziplining, white water rafting , water tubing and thermal pool. We also visited Tamarindo and some of the surrounding areas had had amazing seafood in Tamarindo. Overall 10/10-best birthday ever. Thank you RIU"

"We stayed at this property for a week and had a wonderful time as a family. Our kid enjoyed the pool, slides, and also was very fond of the staff at the Kids Club (Riu Land). The grounds were very well kept and we enjoyed our sunset strolls on the beach. Diamanté Adventure Park (the Animal Sanctuary) right next door is recommended - take the free shuttle bus. Other than Diamante, there's nothing around the resort so I suggest renting a car if you want to explore beyond the immediate area. "

"Beautiful property! Stunning views, very nice people and workers. Quiet place to relax which is exactly what I was looking for. I did notice that it could have been more clean… pool, terrace, fabric pool chairs. Other than that, not complaints! "

"The property was very nice. The bed was comfortable and we had a very good view of the bay, which made our stay much better. If you wanted to do things on the bay, they suggested you to do so in the morning due to the wave in late morning. Food was okay, but some what limited since there were only 3 other locations and they could essentially be visited only once per stay. Other than that you had to eat at the buffet, which had limited selection. Overall, i would give this a rating of 3 stars. "

"We loved our time in Costa Rica! Condovac La Costa has incredible views from the property. Javier Salas from Unique transfers and tours was incredible on site! The only thing that we didn't like was the food was almost the same everyday and the meats were tough. We ate out a lot."
