"Personal, friendly and welcoming staff. Our unit was spacious and private but needed screens in our windows. No air conditioning, so the need of fans and windows opened were necessary. Shuttle service to and from the airport need to be listed as an amenity for the property. The road to the property is precarious to say the least, and taxi cabs do not want to go the last 1/4 mile. "Overall we loved it, though it would have been good to know that you can't drive to the hotel if you don't have a proper 4WD as it is located at the end of a long and steep tarished road. Luckily the hotel offers an transport service for the dirty road between 8am and 5pm. They also offer food(preorder only) and drinks at the bar. The staff was very nice and always helpful. "This is a beautiful and quiet property. The on-site restaurant provides a delicious breakfast. It is about an hour's drive from most attractions but is much more peaceful than staying in Roseau. Like most beaches in Dominica, this one is not swimable. This property is relatively isolated, so we ate most of our dinners there as well. The food is tasty and portions are large. "
