Small, quiet quaint motel with assigned parking in front of the room. Enjoyed the flower planted on the premises. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Help yourself breakfast was available. Nice one night stay.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but we had a terrible room (102). Mattress sagged in the middle, bathroom was not cleaned (hairs and dirt/grime on floor,counter and toilet), shower water temperature was not able to be controlled ( went from scalding to icy with no adjustments being made), on and off loud buzzing noise from furnace??

No AC or fan room was 78 degrees. Opened windows to cool off but closed them to sleep because we didn’t feel safe to leave them open all night. The temp was back to 76 in the morning. The front desk said the should have a desk fan, it did not.

I really liked that this property is one story, no upstairs neighbors. It is nicely located one block from a grocery store and only a couple blocks from the highway but didn't have high traffic noise. The room was spacious and clean, the bed comfortable. Best of all, the property is dog friendly and very walkable.

The room smelled like stale urine. I purchased clorox wipes and used them on the floor, which revealed that they likely has not been cleaned for weeks, and there was no toilet paper.

This is a part of the quality inn so ¹we had the breakfast that was offered from there. Really nice. Very close to Ferry. This is an older motel however it has been updated. Bathroom is quite small and there were 3 little black ants that i saw. Not a big deal at all.

The check in staff was nice, but the room had no AC unit and faces SW. It would be difficult to stay there in the hot summers we have now in the area. The TV service was out, but the front desk took care of that. It is about what you would expect for the money. Noisy people in the room beside us all night, but that can't be blamed on the property.

Pretty rough
The room had a strong chemically-sweet air freshener smell, and there was what looked to be a palm-sized blood stain on the bathroom wall. There was another blood spot on the comforter cover, and when we lifted it up there were strands of hair between the cover and comforter. We woke in the morning to find a trail of ants. When I called the front desk to ask about cleaning our room and dealing with the ants, the person at the desk gruffly said "housekeeping doesn't arrive until 10am". We were out all day, but when we arrived back to our room at 6pm, we found that nothing had been cleaned, but someone had come in and emptied a whole can of RAID ant poison to get rid of the ants. It smelled TERRIBLE in that room. When we went to the front desk to ask for help, the person on duty called management who was able to give us a different room at Quality inn- which was a whole lot nicer! Apparently Uptown inn and Quality inn are the same company, and the properties are right next to each other. SO if staying in Port Angeles, make sure to stay at the Quality inn and NOT Uptown inn.
