Salsa Bar & Grill
Famed as the Local’s Favourite, Salsa Bar & Grill likewise embraces travellers on this culinary adventure. Husband and wife team, Sarah & Jon Lovett, hold such great passion for both the region and upbeat dining, they’ve delightfully fused the two. Funky and casual, with sidewalk seating, The Mexican delivers a traditional menu with a twist. Try your tacos with local fresh crocodile and habanero, or pork belly with banana glaze. Love them with timeless chicken & beef? No problem! Try washing any flavour down with a chocolate tequila milkshake dessert!

Once again on ‘Eat Street’, you can sit back and gaze over mountainous views & watch the ships roll in. Prized for its second-to-none tapas, the Seabean’s sharing plates are so exceptional, you’ll be planning your return holiday over extraordinary cocktails. No kidding. And once you’re done with the blue-cheese mushrooms and sherry-infused chorizo, do not miss the brulee. World renowned, folks have been known to travel the globe for its creamy delight & glazed perfection; all served in a local fresh coconut!
Watergate
Down a flame-lit path, you’ll enter the height of casual cosmopolitan dining. In the very heart of Port Douglas, Watergate offers a journey into contemporary Australian tasting. Using only Tablelands produce, homemade cheeses and fresh catch from local fisherman, its hard to pass up the reef fish of the day with kaffir & beurre blanc. The strawberry Geisha Girl cocktail will prove another highlight of your holiday!
The Tin Shed (Combined Club)
As the only restaurant & bar situated directly on the water, there’s nothing like sipping an icy cold beverage over the inlet, with swaying palms and white-boats framing the scene. The Tin Shed has a more casual, pub style menu, but second to none in value. You’ll find all-time treats like the seafood basket & parmigiana on offer, as well as curries, burgers and kids meals. Yet if you’re looking for something more adventurous while basking in the view, the San Chow Bow or blue-lip mussels are huge favourites too!
Sassi Cucina E Bar
Beside the sea, surrounded by vibrant bougainvillea, choose to dine under the stars or take a street seat for people watching. Eclectic and charismatic, Sassi’s will tempt you with the freshest, mouth-watering seafood, hand-crafted pasta & fragrant chargrilled steaks. Not to mention authentic Italian Pizza & spuntini at the bar. And if it’s your lucky night, you might even catch one of Tony’s (owner & executive chef) infamous serenades!
There is a two car garage space, as well as a driveway and street parking. The bus stop is only a 2 minute walk.
