"Nice property, very clean and tidy. The towels and bed sheets feel clean and comfortable to use, which made our stay very pleasant. The kitchen is well-equipped with a full set of cookware and utensils, making it convenient for preparing meals. We even brought some items of our own, but they turned out to be unnecessary because everything we needed was already provided. "The house is terrific for families, with plenty of room to relax and enjoy yourself. The location is within walking distance of the main street. We could pretty much walk from the house to any popular spot in Portland. So handy. The house has a real holiday feel; not too overdone which is great for anyone who has kids. Elizabeth was super easy to communicate with and the whole process was seamless. Thanks so much for having us. We loved our stay."

"Short visit to Portland with the family including our furbaby. Henty Bay Hdeaway is a perfect little place with all the luxuries of home. Large backyard for everyone to enjoy. Situated near the shops, beach and many more places to explore. Two days was not enough. Will definitely return."

"Really great house lots of space.did have a step at front gate and one big one in house lounge hand rails would help. After second day found bath mat which was great as needed. Had every think you needed. "

"Comfortable family home in residential area of Portland only a short distance from shops & restaurants. Perfect base for seeing the sights in & around this beautiful area. Host Mel was excellent to deal with."

"Very good location for quietness & sea views. 4-5 kms from town centre. 2 storeys with about 8 steps that are quite steep. The house has a lot of vintage character, lots of natural light & a good sense of space. However, some parts, although clean, still look a bit shabby. Instructions for entry & any other information were clear & accurate. We enjoyed our 2 night stay mid-March."

"Beautiful location. The luxury of this accommodation is the large covered deck set amongst native trees and flowering shrubs. Wonderful bird and marsupial watching. Indoors is clean, very minimal fuss living that offers a peaceful base to explore Portland area or to read and walk. "

"Overall we had a good experience at the property. It had a central location in the centre of town and walking distance to the shops. Despite this the area was quiet and safe, with ample facilities and a jumping pillow for the kids. The cabin itself was spacious and clean, though the kitchen was lacking a couple of utensils that we always use (kitchen shears and a turner for cooking). Still, we enjoyed a nice, relaxing stay. Would book here again if we find ourselves in Portland in the future."
