"Great hotel! The staff was very friendly and helpful with all of our questions. The place was very clean. It was great having access to all of the facilities of the park hotel next door. Location was perfect, closer to the “old town” Funchal than most of the hotels, about a 20 min walk to the center, but great area near a lot. "Defiantly the worst property Ive stayed at, I wish it had reviews before I booked as I’m sure they would of agreed with my account of my time there. We killed two cockroaches, had small insects in our belongings, I’d leave the house and find them in my hand bag! The property had a strange smell, stray cats which was heartbreaking as they’d be looking/ begging fofor food. The bathroom in our room had no door, plus the water system didn’t work, so it was either piping hot (enough to make a coffee)...
