"Property is at the top of a hill but does mean you get some stunning views. Was perfect for us as we didn’t leave too much and have to hike up again, there is grocery stores accessible without going down. Kitchen facilities were great, although there was sometimes a queue for the bathroom as showers are not separate. The rooms were great although quite hot as no AC. Communication with staff was great online and we didn’t see very much of them."

"Charming B&B on the hills surrounding Chiavari/Cogorno affording great views of the valley and the sea. The room was Spartan but clean and the shared bathroom was spotless and checked regularly. The lady owner is very friendly. You will need your own transport to get up there! Excellent alternative to downtown Chiavari only 10 minutes' drive."

"Bel appartement très bien situé. Les communications par la plate-forme Novasol ne fonctionnaient pas donc c'était stressant de savoir si on aurait accès à l'hébergement une fois sur place. Heureusement que nous avons pu communiquer avec la personne responsable une fois rendus à Portofino, mais ça n'a pas été simple pour des nord-américains qui n'avaient pas accès à des données Internet."

"This was a great place for my wife and I on our honeymoon. It was very special to be in the middle of the square. My only complaint was that the neighbors above were a bit noisy, but it didn’t inhibit our enjoyment. Note that there is no AC and no elevator to the room, but this was not a problem for us. "
