"This villa was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers. We loved having the pool right out the front door, and the gated community was the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of Tamarindo. There are dozens of restaurants (and shopping) within a 10-15 minute walk, and we enjoyed watching the monkeys in the trees during our walks to the beach (about 15 minutes). The villa was fully equipped to cook and we also enjoyed using the grill. We appreciated the designated parking spot...

"We had an amazing stay at Villa Madera. The staff was great, the property was clean and spacious and in a quiet, private neighborhood. Easy access to beach, groceries, restaurants. Would highly recommend. We were a family of 4 but could easily house two families with 3-4 small kids. Poole and patio are amazing! Definitely rent a car. "

The infinity pool by unit was great, as well as the pool down by beach and so was the restaurant. The views were unbeatable, and the beach was excellent. "There were 10 friends who travel together yearly. Plenty of space and amazing sunsets in the pool. Yersinia was very quick to respond as was the owner. Golf cart rental is a must. All areas easily accessible by cart. Two negatives. As others have said the steps down to the beach are a hike going down and back up. You can always golf cart down to the more public beach. The other is that when we arrived on Sunday the pool was green with algae. People came out and worked on it that night and the...
