Bed and Breakfast in Prudence Island

"We stayed in room 110, which had a queen bed and a nice sitting area. It was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great and the staff was friendly. Although the building is on a main street and our room was in the front, it was not noisy. We came to tour the mansions and this inn was very close to them. We would stay here again. "

"A beautiful, historic property that has been lovingly renovated on a quaint, quiet street. The owners Nicole and Chris were so welcoming and helpful and the breakfast was outstanding! The avacadoe toast and freshly brewed coffee live rent free in my head. Great location within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the harbor. You will love this inn and your time in historuc Newport, Rhode Island."

"This B&B was exactly what I was looking for. The perfect combination between comfort and historical charm. The property is well maintained, clean and convenient to the main historical sites. I didn’t have a car and I walked around safely. Providence is a little gem! Happy I chose it for my weekend getaway."

"The Sarah Kendall House was a delightful part of our short stay in Newport. The entire house is gorgeous, and our room was amazing from the size, beauty and comfort of the bedroom and bathroom to the window view of the harbor. Breakfast was a feast of delicious foods. The location was excellent, within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. Only negative was that we couldn't stay longer. Thanks to all at the Sarah Kendall House who made our one night in Newport absolutely perfect! "

"House is historic and eclectic. Rooms are very private. Complimentary breakfast was great. Staff is amazing. Parking was included. Neighborhood has plenty of restaurants and social spots within walking distance. Only negative was no tv in room. "

"Love, love, love this place! The property is beautiful, as is the neighborhood and our room was lovely. Location was central and walkable to Cliff Walks and Thames St shops and dining as well as the Bellevue Ave. shopping district. My only complaint is 10AM checkout, which is earlier than any place we've ever stayed. That said, would absolutely stay here again "

"We have a group of 9 business owners in our forum that all wanted their own room. We rented the whole Inn! It was a great set up for our groups agenda. Great restaurants and oyster shack very close which was nice for a couple of our meals! Highly recommend this fun place. It was a great taste of Cape Cod history and culture! "
