"We got away for a last minute mom & daughter overnight to Newport and found Town & Tide. We loved every moment there. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and had everything we needed. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and all of the staff we met were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back again!"

"This B&B was amazing on every level. The room was spacious with a stunning view of the capitol building. The parking was included and much easier than other downtown hotels which require valet and garage parking. The included breakfasts were excellent and different every day with two choices of entrées that were restaurant quality. "Stayed here for New Years Eve - great location for a great price, the place is decorated so beautifully, our room was very clean and very cute, and the staff was as friendly and helpful as can be. Will definitely be staying here again!"

"Location is great and the room was very pretty. Bathroom was nicely updated with a huge rain shower head. We stayed in 121, our friends were in 119 which had a beautiful king sized canopy bed and nice sitting area. Breakfast was just ok...we'd probably enjoy the cafe downstairs instead if we visited again. Our room had a weird musky mens cologne smell and the wall unit didnt seem to work. We set it at 63 and it was pretty warm in the room."

"There wasn't anything we didn't like. An 1870's house upgraded bathroom, 12-14 ft ceilings, gas fireplaces in every room, a carafe of Courvoisier for a night's recap before the gas fireplace, the 4 poster bed , antiques all over, a great history to the house ands the local area. Warm, toast and inviting in January with 24 degree weather and a facinating owner of many decades.MAgnificent breakfast, fit for a king."

"A beautiful, historic property that has been lovingly renovated on a quaint, quiet street. The owners Nicole and Chris were so welcoming and helpful and the breakfast was outstanding! The avacadoe toast and freshly brewed coffee live rent free in my head. Great location within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the harbor. You will love this inn and your time in historuc Newport, Rhode Island."

"Great location, walking distance to Easton's Beach and Cliff Walk as well as many stores, restaurants, etc. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. It got fairly cold for a couple of days and the gas fireplace heater did a great job of warming the room. The kitchenette was well stocked with dishes, utensils, etc. And the hosts are super friendly and helpful! "

"We have a group of 9 business owners in our forum that all wanted their own room. We rented the whole Inn! It was a great set up for our groups agenda. Great restaurants and oyster shack very close which was nice for a couple of our meals! Highly recommend this fun place. It was a great taste of Cape Cod history and culture! "

"It was a GREAT location, one of only two hotels on Ocean Drive. the grounds were amazing. The building is falling apart a little, there is deferred maintenance, but the room was clean, the staff was Wonderful. we had a view of the ocean, the hot tub was hot, the coffee and breakfast muffins were great. It is what it is and there is SO much to see in Newport that you shouldnt be spending much time in the room. "

While the apartment itself was spacious and comfortable, with a very useful kitchen, the noise coming each night from the crowd leaving the bar across the street was a lot. "
