"The Gran Melia is a beautiful hotel. The room was very comfortable, the breakfast excellent, the staff very pleasant, the pool is amazing. But what makes it outstanding is the ability to visit the Argentine falls as often as you want and for as long as you want, taking a break in the middle of the day. We thought it was well worth the cost."

"We were super impressed with our stay at the Iguazu Grand. I was a bit concerned as I had read some poor reviews from some people complaining about various things. We arrived after a weeks stay in a 5 star hotel on Copacabana (well known global brand) but we have to say this was far superior in every sense. We had a junior suite overlooking the pool that was lovely, clean, spacious and comfortable. The Breakfast was super contrary to some of the reviews I have read.....The pool area and the gardens were wonderful and very relaxing. We also used the hydrotherapy pool which was a nice chill as well. Overall it beat hands-down the prior stay in Copacabana by a long shot. We would highly recommend and if we come back to Iguazu falls we will defo stay here again. Oh, and thank you Fabio (concierge) for your super efficient and friendly help in arranging all our cars and private tours !!"

"Overall a decent hotel that's a bit old and run down. It is not in the main area of the town so you need to take a taxi or bus to get into Puerto Iguazu. Staff were helpful and friendly and the restaurant was good food at good prices. "
