"The a/c was leaking onto this light fixture, the room was nice loved the balcony looking into the lush vegetation. The restaurant was fantastic, breakfast was another story, you couldn’t serve yourself (buffet style) the cereal etc side you could but not the fruits cheese or ham side. The only eggs served are scrambled. The hostess the first day was not very friendly but day 2 and 3 this younger much friendlier hostess took great care of us!! "

"This is a very nice Mercure Hotel. It is a 15 minute ride to town; however, the taxi ride cost is only approximately $6 US dollars. The breakfast cost is $25 USD; however, it is excellent and plentiful. The service at the hotel, from the reception desk to housekeeping is excellent. Internet reception is very good. We did not use the pool nor the spa, so I can’t comment. "

"Overo was a beautiful cottage like villa situated on the edge of town. It was like glamping in the best way possible. The staff was amazing. My wife became ill during our visit and the hotel concierge’s, Ian, compassion was noticed. Ian checked on her and made sure she was doing alright throughout the day. When we come back, we won’t stay anywhere but here. "

"I had to double check what I was paying when I checked in here. It felt like I was staying in luxury that I normally cannot afford, yet this was so very affordable! The rooms are clean, we were in a studio and it was very large. The bathroom was very impressive and the patio in the back was large and comfortable. The pool area is great with a great bartending staff. The restaurant serves delicious food and the breakfast was better than I’m used to in a hotel. I would absolutely stay here again. "
