"Love this hotel, great family atmosphere. Hoping the refurb doesn't loose too much of the originality this place has. Otherwise will loose his quaintness and staff and be too expensive and will change the clientele."

"A typical mid range seaside hotel. Like the curates egg, good in part. Trying to be objective but honest, so staff were nice, breakfast and dinner good and lovely sea views. On the other hand reception was a bit like a small guest house but it worked. Our room/suite was potentially a very nice room spoilt by a miniscule bathroom about 1.5m square and virtually impossible to get two people in there at once! "Place was lovely, comfortable and clean. Host was very lovely, unfortunately we didn't get to try out any of the breakfast that was available as we don't really do breakfast. Area was so quiet, hardly any network coverage which was lovely as didn't have to worry about phones keep going off. Was the perfect way to switch off to the outside world. Would highly recommend "
