Wonderful beautiful old home very cozy. Daniel the host was excellent. Breakfast was fantastic.
Absolutely fabulous. We met the most wonderful lady, Jenine. (not sure of the spelling) She spoke little English and I little French but she was so warm and loving that we fell in love with her. Great country breakfast in a great old country home. On our return trip we intend to over night again to be with Jenine. This time I have a translation app.
Dan was a very good host, helping us with directions, etc. He prepared an excellent breakfast...the room was very comfortable and the facilities were quaint and charming in a handy location.
Daniel, the proprietor of the B&B is terrific. The breakfast he served was unbelievable. He's engaging with the guests and shares his knowledge of the area. Location is ideal. 4 stars o
We stayed here for three nights and it was great! It was a cheaper alternative to staying in Quebec City. Daniel, the owner,is awesome! The food was great, our room was super comfortable and clean. This is our second time staying at this bed and breakfast and it won't be our last.
It's an experience totally different than regular hotels. You cut tiny bit from usual comfort offered at regular but you get much more in return. The house preserved the rustique style and with antique pieces of furniture you get very good vibe. The service was very good. The breakfast was amazing. A lot of variety, with many choices of fresh foods, vegetables and fruits from local. If not all, many were organic (bio), with great taste. It's a hidden gem, and I can only congratulate the owner, Daniel.
This was my and my husband's first time staying at a B&B.It was wonderful. The hosts were awesome, the food was great and our room was wonderful. It was clean and the bed was so comfy! We will definitely be back in the future. Highly recommend Le Clos des Brumes.
We arrived late in the evening but our host had made arrangements for us to call him when we arrived at the B&B. By the time we brought our luggage to our room, he had arrived to greet us and make arrangements for breakfast. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choices.
Beautiful, Charming Lodging with Amazing Breakfast
We absolutely loved our stay at Le Clos des Brumes! A charming, nicely appointed, historical house in a great location, Le Clos des Brumes was a delight. Our host was warm, gracious, and happy to give us tourist tips as well as share the history of the Inn and the area. The breakfasts were delicious, local and fresh, with a great variety of options. The other guests were friendly and fun to talk to as well. We were only about 20 miles from Quebec City, and right up the road from the impressive Basilica of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré. We wish we could have stayed longer and look forward to returning when we can!

Worth the detour
Old b&b with lovely stone and wood on main areas. Rooms are tired but effort has been made on the important stuff, including very comfy beds and updated bathroom sink & toilet etc. Very clean. The pearl of this place is it's owner Daniel who goes out of his way to make guests feel very welcome and is extremely helpful. Breakfast is lovely and generous with authentic Québécois fare. Highly recommend.
My mother and I were looking into family history in the Cote de Beaupre, and Daniel was a fountain of knowledge, giving us access to some books that he has had bound of local historical documents, including the history of local land transfers or disputes settled for the past 350 years in Chateau Richer. And the food was all locally produced and delicious. The beds in our room were short (as were the people of the 1760's), but very comfortable. The house itself is magical - wonderfully restored.
