AMBERLEY RETREAT PROPERTY SUMMARY:
Nestled in the mountains on lower Shotover River, Amberley Retreat is a modern-day slice of alpine paradise. The contemporary home has been carefully crafted to maximise light, space and comfort, and with a single level layout, it really is perfect for the whole family. Vacation heaven starts here.

ACCOMMODATION DETAILS:
Furnished to holiday stay perfection with a focus on clean, contemporary lines and colour without compromising on ease and comfort, walking into Amberley is a breath of fresh air. The single-storey design means accessibility is easy for the whole family, with no stairs to worry about.

The open plan kitchen and living area is one of the highlights of this home. The layout amplifies the available space and is perfect for socialising with the whole family. Bathed in light and warmth, one can even relax in the afternoon after a busy morning exploring Queenstown by lounging with a book in the bay window. The lounge is furnished with a large flat screen television and there is unlimited WIFI throughout.

It would be doing a disservice to Amberley to not mention the incredible outdoor space, fit with a BBQ and outdoor furniture. Dining alfresco in the courtyard and gazing across to Coronet Peak is the perfect night in. With a vast backyard garden, there is truly something for everyone.

Parking isn’t an issue either, with one garage space plus room for two vehicles off-street. There is also a generous laundry and utilities room – perfect for cleaning off after a long day hiking or on the slopes.

The three bedrooms are all comfortably and beautifully furnished. There is a separate bathroom and toilet. The master bedroom has an ensuite and opens onto a private courtyard.

PRIVACY ACT:
The information requested from the guest is to enable Goodstays Ltd to assess the guest’s request to rent the property. The guest does not have to supply this information, but if the guest does not, then Goodstays is unable to rent the property out. The guest acknowledges that Goodstays will collect, hold and use the guest’s personal information for purposes related to the renting of the property and the provision of related customer services, including direct marketing and assessing customer satisfaction with products and services provided by Goodstays. Amberley Retreat provides the peace and tranquillity of a rural setting that's also close to ski fields, attractions such as Gibbston Valley (home of bungy) and Arrowtown, shopping and Queenstown's airport.

There is off street parking at the property plus Uber, taxi and bus options in and around Queenstown.

- For reservations that are outside of 14 days to arrival will only require a 25% non-refundable deposit. The balance is then due 14 days prior to arrival.

Fantastic place to stay with family. Lovely and warm through winter. Goodstay looks after the property and the only thing I found off putting was the rubbish collection instructions. $25 per bag is pretty steep if you go over your allocated number of rubbish bags.

Wonderful place with outstanding views
We loved our stay at the Amberly retreat. The house is very comfortable and the views from the living and dining areas and the garden are sublime. The kitchen is very well equipped and it was nice that there were some basics in the pantry like oil, vinegar, tea etc. We were skiing and the fields are all in reasonable distance. The beds were super comfy and we slept really well. We could've stayed much longer and would highly recommend it to others.

Fantastic View And Home
I toyed with finding a place closer to town but I was glad to have settled with the Amberley home. The single story home is well laid out with the guest bedrooms away from the master so no interaction. The kitchen, dining area and living room all have fabulous views. The kitchen is well equipped so any type cooking is possible and everything was sparkling clean. The washer and dryer came in super handy as we normally travel light with only one carry on luggage. A short five minute drive and there is a nice shopping complex with two markets, lots of restaurants and various retail shops. A minute further is an indoor electric go kart complex for super thrills. The airport is next door so easy in and out. Downtown is 13-15 minutes away depending on traffic and here again glad to have stayed away from all the walking tourists and traffic. The neighborhood is upscale with similar custom homes so the area is super safe. All in all an impressive home that we would not have any hesitation to stay again.

Great location with awesome views and plenty of outside lawn area. The house was perfect inside too.
Was perfect for us not wanting to be in the hub of Queenstown , yet only a short drive away. Close to airport and new shopping centres that have everything, but it feels far away from all Being on the hillside with acreage viewing Coronet Peak and the Shotover River was amazing. The house is modern , well equipped and spacious too. Good temperature inside with the preset underfloor heating . Used the gas fireplace as well in lounge on a couple of colder evenings . Will be back for more
