"My daughter and I had a wonderful visit at the Riad Almazhar. Aziza did such a thoughtful job of making sure that all our needs were attended to. She arrange transportation to a classic Hamman, set up a guided walking tour for us with a fantastic guide, and made arrangements for transport to the train station in our final day. "This Riad is a beautiful traditional Moroccan home with guest rooms located off open air courtyards that are weatherproof but airy. The extended family who run the business is lovely and although their English is somewhat limited, they always figured out what I was asking and made every effort to assist. "Wonderful staff who make you feel at home. Local place in an amazing former Ambassador's house with history and culture. Bit out of the way but quiet and peaceful with a lovely garden and pool. Not for the business traveler who wants a 24 hour service, gym and bar, but great for couples, small family, and end of long trip repose. Moroccan food is fantastic!"

"We arrived to the property at 2:30, with a 3:00 check-in. Our room was not ready, which we expected, so we went out for half an hour. When we return a little after 3pm they said our room would not be ready for another 40 minutes or more. We were tired and really wanted to freshen up. The staff were unapologetic (an apology and making the customer feel like they are the priority goes a long way) and made us almost feel like we were imposing expecting the room to be ready on time.
