"The staff were really friendly and helpful when they let us in and gave us our room key. However; the aircon was not working and the room was very unclean and swarming with bugs. I know the hotel is cheap but I’d rather pay a little bit more and be somewhere clean and with working aircon. Pro to the experience was the nice man who let us in though :) "

In the area tgere are not many option fir dining, specially in the evening. Only one of staff speaks English, so communication can be difficult at times if you do not speakFrenchor Arabic. "

"This stunning hotel checked all the boxes for us. We only stayed one night, and we wished we would have been able to spend more time here. The spa was heavenly. We also enjoyed dinner and breakfast at the rooftop restaurant. It felt luxurious and modern, but is in a historic remodeled location in the medina. It is truly stunningly beautiful. "There are many things to like about this Riad. First and foremost was the excellent staff. They arranged a pick up and drop off at the airport 50 dinar each way. One of the downsides to Tunis is the dishonest taxi drivers. This was an excellent price and such a relief to see our driver waiting with my name when we arrived. The rooms are exquisitely decorated and very comfortable. The only real criticism we had was the shower head which was hand held - in summer this wouldn’t be such a problem...
