"Beautiful hotel We stayed in ‘biggy, riverside view room. Lovely room with fabulous bathroom. Really nice toiletries. Ate dinner in restaurant, lots of choice and good value. Very friendly staff All in all an excellent stay. We would stay again"

"Had a great weekend stay at The Roseate. Very spacious room (House Premium Room) with separate bath and shower. It was a nice breakfast, but I felt somehow about the service charge that was attempted to be added on top of the breakfast charge. "

"We were visiting our son who lived a 5 min drive away. It was really only somewhere for us to sleep wash and have breakfast. The hotel was ideal for us. People were very friendly and breakfast was lovely. "

"Well laid out room with cosy vibes, very relaxing. Helpful team at reception and nice and close to the centre of town. Well-sealed windows that keep the noise out, which is always important to me. The lift wasn't active when I visited, but I had small wheeled luggage so no problems. "

"Staff are very friendly including the restaurant staff. This hotel represents good value for money and is comfortable. You can hear the trains in certain parts of the hotel which is mentioned in the hotel description, we stay at the weekend so it wasn’t really an issue but during the week I would opt for a room at the other side of the hotel which is clear when booking a room. If in the area would stay again."
