"First time at this property, 5th time in Mexico and 2nd time at a Riu Resort (Ocho Rios). The property was beautiful, well laid out and maintained. It was spotless! Check-in was easy and our rooms were ready a couple hours early. The rooms were fresh, clean, no smells and the air conditioning worked perfectly. There is a tub in the middle of the room; weird but it made for a good clothes hanger! The beach and pool were perfect. Chair hogs around the pool but plenty of loungers on the beach....

"Overall it was a nice holiday but I don’t think I would return to this resort Pros: Lots of activities to do if you’re interested in that (we never ended up doing much of)such as bike tours on property, tennis courts, beach volleyball, night time shows every night at 9pm in a very cool outdoor theatre, 11:00 am dolphin show and optional fee to swim with dolphins, spa (half of the hydrotherapy was closed or under renovations), the private beach was very nice and the ocean is swimmable compared...

"Check in was very quick. The staff and amenities were great.the resort is very large. So be prepared to walk. Lots of activities. I like that they have an app to view activities and restaurants. You can make reservations at the specialty restaurants on the app. We were only able to get one reservation in 5 days. It was good though. The only thing that turned me off was after check in - they had someone start talking to you about the amenities of the hotel and then want you to go to a special...

"What a wonderful experience! We loved it! The only thing I wish was that the website had more information before we left America. Once we got there, the QR codes be the websites given to us there re great! You guys should definitely showcase it more before people book it and after they book it/before their trip. The food was excellent! The staff was excellent! The activities were fantastic! It was great!"

"Our family of four had an amazing 2-week stay at The Royal Haciendas over Christmas. We enjoyed pretty much everything about the resort and we will definitely go back!
