"This property is beautiful. Well kept up and very new. The staff is excellent - especially Nayella at the bar. She has such a great smile to greet you and have a drink with every night! The rooms are beautiful - as well as the beach access and pool area. Chairs are plentiful, even though people reserve them super early in the day, we were always able to find a spot to sit. Also very easy access to the West Bay Dive shop and operator, and several restaurants are accessible from the beach. "

"Quick get away trip for 3 days. Property was well maintained. Rooms was clean, water pressure for the shower was a little low at times but still good enough for a shower. Buffet options were decent. I found the meal at the onsite restaurants was better. Beach front was clean and nice."

"Puerta Azul is a unique small and quiet hotel. The staff is amazing and very helpful. The food is delicious and it is prepared fresh every day. Our room was number 4 very close to the beach and was very clean and beautiful. The owners and all their staff specially Julie are very nice and courteous. My husband and I had an incredible stay in this charming hotel and we will hope to come back next year. "
