"This place is a hidden gem, aside from the place being nice and clean, staff are very welcoming as well as the manager. Food has not much selection but you can request what you want their staff is very accomodating.the place is not for those who are looking for night life though unless you have a car to drive 30 minutes to Moalboal but that’s not what I came here for.. "The room was very small with no window. Also there were some insects everywhere. I didn’t like the place. The only thing I liked the most is the staff are friendly and the cafe they have. Other than that the hotel isn’t great. I don’t think I would come back to be honest. But I would use the cafe if I ever go there again. "

"Our stay at the Backyard Inn was nothing short of a nightmare. The experience felt like actually sleeping outside with the chickens. The pod smelled of chicken waste, the sink didn’t drain, and the noise was unbearable—constant chicken noises, roosters crowing, and no peace or quiet to rest. We couldn’t wait to leave.
