"We loved our stay! The house was so much bigger than expected and immaculately clean. Plenty of room for everyone to come together, but also have their own private space. We loved our afternoon kangaroo and curlew visitors too. We'd definitely stay again!"

I will only knock off one star because of how exceptional the house was, but if you are looking to do anything that involves the internet, forget about it. You will not be able to read your morning paper, use your phone or watch TV as it rarely worked, even after calling the owner and doing a reset. "

"When my wife contracted Covid owners were very good and let us change our booking at no extra cost. It meant we couldn’t have the mentioned accommodation and we were in the Bali Retreat their other unit which was great. "The property was perfect—10/10. The Sunrise at 1770 estate is incredible, with next-level facilities. You hardly need to leave the estate except for supplies. Everything was clean, well-maintained, peaceful, and secluded. The property even includes a golf buggy, which made getting around the estate easy. We loved the jacuzzi on the deck with its stunning ocean views. We can’t wait to return."

"Beautiful home with a magic view. House well equipped and the deck is magnificent. If you have young children be aware that the second bedroom is in a seperate section of the house that involves going outside to get to. Estate is amazing with sparkling pools, tennis courts and playground."

"This pub hotel is a great stop over for the family for the Mackay to Brisbane drive. Price was good, family room was huge, clean and felt like sleeping in a great big Queenslander. Female toilets and showers are refurbished and looking fresh. Pub directly downstairs provided a good meal with Pizza and huge pub meals available. The beer on tap was cold and the outdoor playground was loved by my kids. Stayed here twice now on our adventure to brisbane and back. Also a great coffee shop just down...

The motel is exceptionally clean, the owners helpful and the room a good size with everything we needed for a comfortable 3 day stay. "The room was very clean. Only dust found was on the fluorescent bulbs behind bed. No bugs on ceiling or dirt found anywhere else. Bathroom updated and drains clean. Only place in Australia we stayed where drains were clean. There was a hook to hang towel for shower. The guest book was a great read we visited the restaurant across the street and tunnel. Bed was firm and pillows flat but got two. Staff was super friendly. This is the best place to stay in Gin Gin."

Fantastic stay

"Loved everything about our stay at Sunrise at 1770. The house was amazing with a well set up kitchen, extras like tennis racquets, beach chairs and boogie boards, and views to die for. The facilities in the estate are world class and the beaches are so beautiful and you often have them to yourselves. There’s so much to do in the area. We can’t wait to come back again."
