Clean apartment, some initial struggle with the front door key ‘technique’ but the video was helpful, could’ve done with a few more kitchen utensils / oven trays for self catering. Only issue was high back chair that was damaged with no note to say it had been noticed and or reported, we emailed Cottages.com but no reply ! "Very cozy cottage. Good location and also public transport nearby which was great. Small tip, add a bread knife and corkscrew and it would be more than perfect ;) We'd love to return"

"Ideal location with charming village area nearby. Easy walk to local pub and to the water. Flat was spacious and well equipped; but could have used a bit more maintenance and some air freshener (near the sea, so a bit of a damp, musty smell). It was a bit farther from central Edinburg (~40 min) than I had expected; but the quaint village feel of the area was well worth the few extra minutes drive. All in all a nice place to support local sight seeing and day trips."

"Very clean and tidy,only comment is we had a long 7 hour drive and there was no milk in fridge and no tea bags etc,didnt want heaps just a quick cuppa and it would have been nice to leave an odd bin bag, as we were there for 6 days,but apart from that a lovely Comfy stay. comfy comfy stay"

"The Garden Cottage is such a fantastic spot. My family was traveling to Scotland for a wedding and needed a nearby accommodation with minimal stairs for the 92 yr old grandmother. The Garden Cottage seemed to be a good choice until we walked in the door and WOW, it exceeded all expectations. Not only were there few stairs and 3 bedrooms, the cottage included a lovely kitchen with a large table, a sitting room, a tv room and a fantastic garden with opportunities to spot a big rabbit or two. ...

"Location excellent. And, photos accurately show current condition. The manager/owner and I have had a constructive dialogue which I hope will improve his property, specifically, buying new mattresses (as the current ones are soft and sinking), adding hangers to the wardrobe, adding hooks for damp towels to hang, and, fixing the leak from the bathroom that resulted in damp conditions in the larger of the two bedrooms. Manager/owner was responsive to my concerns and cooperative. "

"We stayed in apartment. The stay was comfortable. Though bed room & living room was small, it had lot of storage space. Wi-Fi was fine. It's Kitchen was good. However some cutleries were missing which we managed. In bath, toiletries were not provided. Only hand wash provided. Reception was polite but it appeared they do not encourage or provide early check-in as a policy and just stereo type " Subject to availability". We used Lundry equipment in basement.
