Generally pleased!
My siblings and I came to town to work on our parents house and handle some business. The house was conveniently located and spacious! We rested well and were thankful to be able to spread out in the dining room, living room, and bedrooms. My only concerns were that the bathrooms were not quite as clean as I would like, and there was a leak in the roof into the kitchen lights. The outside stairs on the side of the house were a little bit unsafe.

This was a great place stay! There was plenty of room for 3 adults and 3 children, 2 of which were toddlers. Clean and spacious. Very quick drive to Chattanooga. When we had troubles with the bathtub not draining the owner sent over someone an hour later to fix it! Very quick responses! Only down side was the air conditioning was not working properly, but since we were not there throughout most of the day it wasn't a real hindrance. Would definitely book again!

Hot house!
We arrived late afternoon to a house that was 76 degrees with the AC set at 69. It never got lower than that and the last night we arrived back late and the house was 81 degrees. I notified the manager the first day, and while they quickly replied, nothing was done. We were there 3 nights to attend my son’s wedding and this made for a miserable time of getting ready for a wedding. While we appreciated the fenced in back yard, for our dog, the grass needed to be cut, and we had to pay extra cleaning fee for the dog, which I was happy to do but there were cobwebs throughout the home. You have to access the home by a narrow set of stairs on the side of the home, and the door to the basement, while padlocked, kept being ajar, giving you the feeling of some horror movie. They promised to address the issues, so maybe this will be a one off problem.

Don’t Stay Here
We paid for linens for 10 people and only received 6 towels and 2 wash cloths. We also did not receive enough sheets sets to sleep 10 people. When we called and asked for the linens we paid for, they company did not bring them until the next day leaving us with not enough sheets to sleep on or towels for showering. When the company brought linens they next day, they only brought towels and no wash cloths so we still only has 2 washcloths for 10 people. In addition, the air conditioner did not work. We had elderly people with us who needed it. It was 80 degrees in the house. The owners sent someone out the next day to look at it and told the repairman to only charge it even though there was more wrong with it-one part being that it was leaking badly. It did work for the 2nd night we were there but produced a loud humming sound when it was on. Unless the owners actually fix what is wrong with it, it will not work for future guests. Furthermore, there was a mouse trap in the kitchen with a dead mouse in it. I will not stay in this place again and nor would I recommend it to anyone else.

This house was perfect for the needs that I had during my stay in the area. I was visiting family, and it was close to them which was super handy. The house was clean and inviting when I arrived and had lots of room for my young grandkids to enjoy activities. Although the home is older, it was decorated nicely. The large kitchen was great for making meals. There are limited cooking items, so if planning to do detailed cooking, bring items with you that you think you might need. There is no toaster, but there is a blender. The entrance to the house is via a code at the side door. There are no curtains on the side entrance door, so plan accordingly if you want privacy. While I was there, people came and mowed the yard and did a fantastic job. I also met the maintenance gentleman, who changed out some lightbulbs on the porch that were out. He was super nice. Communication was outstanding, always checking to make sure things were fine, as well as giving information for checking in and checking out. It is close to shopping and other attractions. It was a nice little cozy place to stay away from home, and I will plan to stay there again when in the area.

The house was very inviting inside and spacious. The kitchen is nice size if cooking. There are a minimal amount of pots and pans and utensils but no toaster and no storage containers. Best to bring your own things if any question about what you may need. It is close to shopping and restaurants in Fort Oglethorpe and close to Chickamauga Battlefield. There are a lot of stairs to the entrance which is through the kitchen. Have a back up plan if you want some of the windows covered (especially the kitchen entrance door). There is a small washer/dryer (one machine), but allow 3-4 hours for one load to finish. Bring your own laundry detergent. It's a great little rental house and would be much more enjoyable and inviting if attention to detail in cleaning would be addressed. There were limited supplies, so we bought our own during the stay. The communication with the host was exceptional and addressed any needs we had while we stayed. Communication checking in and checking out was top notch. Despite some issues, we will be planning to stay again.

Pet friendly accommodations
The listing photos are a good representation of the furnishings and property. It's located on a relatively quiet street, surrounded by similar style homes, minutes from restaurant and grocery options and convenient to all the local attractions. There's a nice deck and a shady backyard accessible through a bedroom (bring your own chairs and maybe a small grill if you actually want to enjoy it). I suggest you bring linens (bed, bath & kitchen). There were only two wash cloths provided for the entire house. The sheets are a cheap polyester, discount store quality. There are a few miss matched towels and one extra blanket. While the kitchen has a full set of plates and glasses the cookware is a barely adequate for the simplest meal prep. If you plan on cooking any meals I suggest bringing at least one large pot/pan/skillet. There are security lights that stay on all the time. Some of the windows have no blinds at all. The ones that do are cheap plastic blinds with a few broken slats causing us to have to rig sheets over the bedroom windows in an attempt to block out some of the overnight bright lights. The kitchen glass door has no covering at all which allows an entirely exposed view through the kitchen, dining room, and living room (a little disconcerting especially after dark). There was definitely an ant and roach problem that we dealt with daily. All of the baseboard and ceiling corners need a thorough and regular cleaning. Not what one would expect for cleaning fee rate, but the tub, shower, sinks, toilet bowels, and floors seem to have been freshly cleaned before we arrived. FYI, Keypad is at the side door. The property management company sent emails after my arrival asking if all was as expected. I responded about the roach and ant issue, as well as making them aware of a broken basement window (not accessible from inside house). I received an email apology and a phone call from property management asking that I allow window repair to be scheduled the following day. I reminded the agent that we would be checking out that day and suggested that she schedule it anytime after that, the agent then called back to reiterate that checkout is at 11 a.m. With all that said this house is budget and pet friendly. If the bug problem is addressed, and it were thoroughly clean upon arrival, with better attention to details such as decent linens, kitchenwares, and adequate window and door privacy it could be a darling property.

Home was plenty big enough for our group. Property managers were very quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Only complaint is the parking situation. One lane driveway with no where to park on road. We had 4 vehicles with everyone coming and going at different times, so we had to frequently do car shuffling.

We had the best time in this house. It was welcoming , clean and so homey. Had a great neighborhood and very close to location of rock city , incline railroad and ruby falls. My girls and I even got to see snow for the first time. We had a great vacation. The only thing I wished I knew was the code to get inside the house was not in the front door but by the side of the house. I wished I would have known this when we got there as I got scared bc I couldnt find how to access the house when we first got there. Thankfully the property manager answer right away and I ended up finding it. But I want to let everyone know so they are not waiting outside like I did . :). Thanks for an awesome stay.

Nice, clean stay!
The house was clean and easy check in and very responsive host. There was no toaster or tea kettle and the kitchen supplies lack for cooking . The knives are rather dull. The bed was super comfortable and although the TVs are quite small for the space everything was in working order and easy to use. Very spacious house- with plenty of room. A few dead bugs - but nothing serious. I would stay here again.
