"Motel was easy to find with parking. Checkin was easy and quick. Room was very clean but not updated, which is fine, but know what you're getting. Personally as long as it's clean I am good, and it was. The only thing less than comfortable was how quick we ran out of hot water in the shower. My husband and I couldn't shower back to back without the second person quickly running out of hot water - even trying to take quick ones."

"Good location and overall, a good hotel for a night or 2. Rooms and pool need repairs and maintenance. Need more staff onsite. The person who served us was great but just too much for one person to do everything. Pool tiles and surrounding need urgent repairs but a nice size and heated pool."

"Great value for money and excellent service from host Iris. Lodge is a little dated but it’s huge with plenty of activities from a pool, snooker/pool table, gym, gaming devices, tennis courts and extensive grounds. Location is handy to main highways, some of the key attractions and only 20 mins into central Rotorua. Would definitely stay here again."
