The Little Colony offers an ideal setting for your Round Top stay. Located just over a mile from downtown Round Top and 1.6 miles from Marburger Farms off State Highway 237 on Hartfield Road.

This is our second visit to Bobby and Mary Kay's cabin. Our stay was delightful in every way! Our hosts made sure that we were comfortable and well taken care of. The location is perfect and the cabin and grounds are beautiful. This is now the only place we will book when we return in Round Top.

Charming, rustic Round Top cabin
This quaint little cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway to Round Top. Bobby met us upon arrival and carted our bags to the cabin while we made our way down the beautiful stone sidewalk which meandered through a manicured grass and lighted tree lined pathway to the cabin. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous. Bobby gave us a basic run through of the cabin which included a cute kitchenette with a small dinette. There we found a welcome gift of chocolate chip cookies and a bottle of bubbly wine in the mini fridge. In the kitchenette were supplies for coffee ( a nice touch was a carton of half n half in the mini fridge)a toaster and a microwave. Coupons good at local restaurants were provided for breakfast both mornings of our stay. The beds were comfortable and we were able to set the temperature of the cabin to our liking. We were given fair warning that this country cabin is indeed out in the country and to keep an eye out for local wildlife. So, I wasn't surprised to encounter a snake on the pathway coming in the 2nd night. I gave my slithering friend time to move on before I continued on my way. Bobby did provide his cell number so I am sure he would have come to my rescue had the need arose regarding said reptile!!! We will definitely be back and I would encourage any of my family and friends to stay with this sweet host family in their rustic cabin on their beautiful property in Round Top.

Bobby met me at the property and showed me around. Excellent host. They even had a bottle of champagne in a bottle of white wine in the refrigerator and a plate of chocolate chip cookies on the table. The cabin was incredible. Everybody loved it.

Our experience was absolutely amazing here! Bobby and Mary Kay are THE best hosts. They met us at check in and check out to help with our luggage, they had great tips for things to do around town, and their cabin and property were stunning, close to town, and so accommodating. We couldn’t have dreamed up a better stay!

Perfect weekend away
We were blown away by the beauty, comfort and hospitality of stay. Bobby met us at the driveway with a cart for our luggage and delivered it to the cabin where homemade cookies and a bottle of bubbly were waiting for us. We spend the majority time sitting in the rocking chairs on the porch just looking at the view, Bobby madeus a fire in the fire pit one night so we also enjoyed that. It was the perfect weekend away to reconnect with friends and I couldn't imagine anything better!
