"Front desk staff was phenomenal. My only gripe is that housekeeping would not change out pur towels and kept placing dirty towels that were purposely placed on the floor back on the bathroom rack as if they were clean. "

"The location is great, next to the tidal pool and beach with many nice restaurants within a few minutes walking. We stayed in apartment 12BC and it had a gourgeos view over the sea and sunset. The pools are good too, and it felt safe with security and gates. Camps bay is amazing and it is close to Lion’s head and Consangia wine district. The apartment was newly renovated but the rest of the property was a litle bit shabby. Otherwise it would have been a 10!"

"Front desk extremely helpful. Arrived very early so our luggage was stored then delivered to our room once the troop was ready. We liked the design of the renovation. Many of the old features were left such as the iron windows, gorgeous brass front door. The interior wood panelling has been painted white which made the place bright and contemporary looking. We found the beds a bit too soft. Would appreciate some basic toiletries. "

"We truly enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed (coffee machine, plates, silverware, glasses, washing machine, etc.) The area was very safe and we felt comfortable walking around at night. The property grounds were beautiful and the canal was lovely. The staff was fantastic and answered all of our questions. I would absolutely stay here again! Thank for providing a memorable vacation in Cape Town. "

"3 night stay in Cape Town at the start of an African adventure. Super friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast, good location, 15 mins to beach, and to V&A. The apartment is probably the best we’ve stayed in (penthouse/honeymoon) especially for the money charged. Full high end kitchen, en suite, separate bathroom, 4 balconies and roof terrace. Jacuzzi wasn’t working properly but still 5 stars"

"The staff truly went above and beyond for us. We arrived just before midnight, exhausted from our travels, and they greeted us with warm smiles and great service. They quickly guided us through check-in, empathetic to our fatigue, and took the time to show us to our room so we could rest. A few hours later, at 4:30 am, we were pleasantly surprised by a delicious breakfast that gave us the energy we needed for our next flight. The venue and amenities were wonderful, but it was the incredible staff who made our experience truly memorable. Their kindness and understanding made all the difference during our stay."

Holiday Inn Express Cape Town City-Centre

"The staff was marvelous, and did a great job making us feel at home. The complimentary breakfast was also excellent - leaps and bounds what you would expect at a Holiday Inn in America. The room was small, but there were very accessible outlets and outlets with USB ports, and while I didn’t use it, the view from the 15th floor gym was excellent (you get a partial look at Table Mountain). Minor issues aside, this was a great place to stay at a great price, a short and cheap Uber-ride away from the V&A and two blocks from a major stop on the CitySightseeing bus path."
