"Easy check in but didn't realise you have to be there before 5pm. Good job I checked. room was nice and big, well heated, bathroom was massive, all modern fittings, and great to be facing the lake. Only thing I can say but its personal choice is the bed was really hard and didn't have a great nights sleep. "

We come to Ibstock to visit our friends for their Christmas party every year and this was the first time we'd chosen to find somewhere else to stay. "Stayed overnight with a friend for a concert at Birmingham NEC, very reasonable price, clean and cosy. Friendly owner who lives in a separate house at the bottom of the property. Cooked breakfast available and a coffee machine that does a pretty good hot chocolate. Only slight downside is if you are a light sleeper it's close to a train track and the airport, but personally this didn't bother me."
