"The hotel is in a fantastic location, and we had a great room with a balcony and a fabulous view. The downside was the weather! We had so much rain, and everywhere was damp and muddy. A la carte restaurant meals were fairly good, but the dinner buffets (which we were forced to have on occasions) were not very inspiring. We also discovered to our cost that the hotel does not have any meaningful first aid supplies."

"Overall great experience and I recommend going here. Here’s my thoughts: Pros: Clean, friendly and super helpful staff, lots of stuff to do. They have so many workers trying to make you happy - crazy like 1 employee per 2 guests! Cons: 1. Far from airport (1.5 hour) without any hotel shuttle so you have to either rent a car or get taxi or call hotel to get transportation ($180 each way). We rented car with full insurance ($600). It was a mistake! Driving in DR is a nightmare. Roads are mostly...

"This was a comfortable stay! Staff was over the top accommodating to us. The road was under construction so the front desk helped us with an alternate route. Which we were grateful for with coming off a 5 hour drive. Room was clean, had ac and hot water. There was a nice pool and there's places to eat within walking distance. We decided to try their restaurant. Ana was amazing!!!! Our Spanish is not the best. But Ana was incredibly patient with us and by the end of the evening we all laughed and enjoyed the evening. If for nothing else, I'd recommend this as a stay because of the staff! They made our evening great! We had to get back on the road early but they did offer a breakfast in the morning. Beautiful place right on the beach at an affordable rate! "
