I usually don't write reviews for hotels unless they're terrible, but in this case, I was pleasantly surprised with this property. I needed a cheap hotel close to an event I was attending. I was a little concerned staying at a Motel 6, given the reputation, but this location is actually not bad. First, the room was super clean and looks to be recently renovated. The bed was comfortable, and once the evening shuffle of people settling in passed, it was very quiet for the night. I slept well and was refreshed in the morning. I did see one homeless person wandering outside the property and one that looked to be staying in a room, but aside from that, it was a very typical motel experience. I will probably stay here again next year when I attend the same event again.

the exterior lights did not come on when dark. The timing needs to be reset. It eas dark outside when my wife took the dog fora walk and some guy followed her, When she got in the room the fellow actually knocked on the door. I did not open it. After my wife described the individual I went out and politely confronted him. I gave him good reason to stay away.2 choices. 1.stay away 2. XXXxxxx.

The location is close to a main busy road so you can hear the traffic, glad I had ear plugs. The room was clean but there was no shampoo or hair dryer. It was only ok.

Got in at night - when I was parking to check-in there was 3 police cars already there- police activity at a Motel 6 usually is not a great sign. But, staff was friendly, one of the police cars was actually security- the others were looking for a missing person. Place is well lit- my room 105 was recently renovated- bed was nice, water was hot, AC worked I would ding it for being slightly noisy - right in front of 24/7 Denny's parking lot ( ate breakfast- not bad)- road noise/couldn't really hear neighbors walking above etc. or TV so that was good. Could hear door closing above-This Motel 6 was the most economical that did not get drug haven/homeless reviews in the Sacramento area. Really easy access to highway and got downtown & back really easy.
