Perfect location to discover the area
Lovely views from the pool out across French countryside. Pool is modern, clean and good size. Some issues with the electric cover, but that was down to a failed sensor which is on order. House is lovely and unspoilt, we loved it. But for some the interior lighting might be on the dim side. This did not bother us as we were out by the pool most of the time. There are alot of steps to negotiate, some steep and narrow. Again, we were fine with it but worth noting. Overall we would highly recommend it, quite a find !

Un séjour des plus agréables dans cette maison de caractère idéalement située dans une très belle région. Une vue sur la campagne et un calme merveilleux ! La piscine est un réel atout pour les petits comme pour les grands. Merci à Corinne pour son accueil et sa gentillesse. Nous recommandons et serions ravis d'y revenir lors de prochaines vacances car il reste beaucoup d'endroits à visiter !

Fantastic peaceful house in countryside with lovely views and fantastic pool.
We had a fantastic week enjoying this lovely peaceful house. The house is well equipped, has lovely views and the amazing swimming pool was thoroughly used given the hot weather. We are already thinking about when we can visit again.

Zaaalig zwembad
Grootste pluspunt is het zwembad en de netheid van het huis. Huis zelf is in 5 verschillende verdiepen: verdiep zwembad 3 tredes hoger living en was gedeelte nog 5 tredes hoger keuken en badkamer dan 2 tredes hoger slaapkamer en dan 10 treden hoger zolder met 2 slaapkamers.. veel niveaus dus oud huis wel en zolderkamer zeer warm in putje zomer.. grote tip aan de eigenaars plaatsen van horren tegen het ongedierte van buiten.

het is een mooi huis, wel heel veel trappen, alles is aanwezig, het zwembad is zeker een pluspunt de foto's zijn de juiste foto's zoals het ook is het is een heel rustige buurt

Een prettig en stil gelegen huis, met alles dat nodig is.
Mijn dochter, schoonzoon, hun twee kinderen en ik hebben een bijzonder prettig verblijf gehad in Cathy’s woning. Het huis ligt behoorlijk afgelegen, in een groepje van drie woningen, waar je de buren niet merkt. De ontvangst was bijzonder prettig, evenals de afsluiting, in ons geval door huismeester Corinne. Zeker een woning om te overwegen, als je van stilte en rust houdt.

Une jolie maison dans la verdure, au calme. La maison est bien équipée et la literie est excellente. L’intérieur est un peu sombre mais finalement très agréable malgré les escaliers. La terrasse et la piscine sont de vrais atouts.

Vacances dépaysantes
Nous avons passé 15 jours tres agréables dans la région. La maison est effectivement une vieille dame, avec beaucoup de charme et des parties rénovées appréciables. Maison sur plusieurs niveaux ce qui n’est pas toujours très pratique avec des enfants en bas âge. Le jardin, la piscine et la vue sur les champs sont incroyables. Un peu de vis à vis avec les voisins mais cela Ne nous a pas dérangé. Nous recommandons la maison et la Région. Merci encore pour l’accueil chaleureux!

Beautiful ,calm peaceful location. It was great to have the pool.
We intended having children there as well . However COVID 19 restricted their travel options from Ireland. Taxi service to and from Thiviers were excellent and we got to know Gislaine. The small supermarket in the nearest village was very badly stocked. You cannot rely on them. We found everything that we needed for cooking in the kitchen. Corrine appreciated our communication with her on arrival and departure.
