"The hotel is older but looks newly renovated in the last several years. Rooms are decent, but each one is different. The first room we got was ok ... lock did not work and the shower setup caused water to get on the bathroom floor. We were given a different room (just across from our 1st room) the next night, and it everything was better. Cleanliness was great, staff was friendly and location was good for us (we walked to Notre Dame, metro station was 200 meters away, restaurants withing walking...

Once you walk out of the side street, you can find all the shops for almost anything you need - food, clothes, bar, pharmacy etc. The Le Marais area is really one of the nicer neighbourhood in Paris. I could walk over and cross the Seine to the Saint Germaine area quite easily from the hotel. The hotel receptionist was polite and I had a smooth check-in and check-out. "This is a simple hotel in a great neighborhood. I was visiting Paris by myself and picked this hotel knowing it was in a safe place. Very close to Saint Paul metro stop. I asked for a room on the second or third floor and got one on the second. So, I didn’t have to climb up to the top with my gear. Hotel staff was always very kind and helpful. Bed was comfortable, rooms are tiny, the sink and toilet are in the shower. I would choose this hotel again, but wouldn’t pay for breakfast."

"We stayed in a superior double room for 4 nights. Our room was on the 4th floor, we found it to be spacious and clean. It was pretty quiet with some road noise in the morning, however this didn't bother us particularly as we tend to be up early. The hotel was in a good location with transport options close by and plenty of shops. All of the reception staff we met were very friendly. We enjoyed our stay here and would stay again. Thanks! "
