"A gem of a hotel, clean, comfortable, warm, good breakfast and dinner, easy for parking, right in the town centre, 3 minutes walk from the beach. Friendly, welcoming owners and pleasant staff, very reasonably priced. I look forward to staying longer on a future visit. This is a good base for the D-Day trail, a seaside break, Caen and Bayeux (tapestry). Good choice of restaurants outwith the hotel too."

"This is a hugely convenient hotel if you're just getting off a ferry in Caen! The hotel is only a couple of minutes' drive away and is easy to find. We checked in late after reception is closed, but there was an automatic check-in machine that worked well. The room was basic but clean and functional, breakfast had everything we wanted. Recommend! "

This hotel exceeded our expectations, the family room comfortably accommodated 3 adults and two children, everything was fresh, clean, inviting and quiet. "Lovely hotel right in the centre of Bayeux with everything easily within walking distance. The room was lovely and warm and the bed was very comfortable. The hot tub and swimming pool were a nice touch after a day of walking in Bayeux and on the Normandy beaches. Highly recommend. "

La Bayeux

"We had booked at hotel la Bayeux but when we arrived we were directed to hotel Normandy. It was a little confusing but we called the number and had no problems. The girl who checked us in was super kind. Our room was perfect for our family of 5. We had Breakfast there and it was nice to sit and relax for Breakfast. We wish we had planned more time here. It is a lovely town. "
