Our Gite PeyraMonta, takes its name from the path that passes next to the chalet and which joins the village of St Véran.
The Molines / St Véran station can be reached on skis from the chalet. It is 800 meters away. The resort offers various services such as: ESF ski school, several restaurants, sports store and a daycare center in particular.
The good restaurant of Baita du Loup is located 80 m from the house.
Our cottage of about 140 m2 which can accommodate 10 people, is an authentic 18th century Queyras farm, located in the hamlet of Chalp Ste Agathe at an altitude of 1800 m in the town of St Véran (The highest town in Europe 2040 meters above sea level). The chalet has its own entrance and a large terrace facing south west.
The cottage is composed of a kitchen, a living room, 2 bedrooms and a dormitory-refuge (capacity 8 people), 2 SBD, 1 sauna, 1 large terrace, 2 balconies. Electric heaters and godin wood stove, mini-chain, telescope, 32 'flat screen TV, parking (1 high chair and 1 cot available on request).
While staying in St Véran, you will be quiet in this pretty hamlet of Queyras but close to the ski slopes of the Molines / St Véran station and the cross-country ski area (Haute Route des Escartons)
This cottage which is tastefully furnished with Queyras furniture in larch is comfortable and very well exposed. The view is clear on the valley and the mountains.
The house is close to the Molines-St Véran ski resort (distance 800 meters), which you can reach on skis from the chalet. You will not use your car during the stay to ski.
In winter :
From the house you can reach by a snow-covered path downhill, the ski resort of Molines en Queyras, the cross-country ski area of the high route des Escartons or you will go on snowshoes on a marked circuit before ending the day with a session sauna.
Firewood for the Godin stove is provided for the winter season (until the February holidays).
In summer :
Multiple hikes (GR58) are possible and all outdoor activities available. (tree climbing, horse riding, mountain biking, summer tobogganing, paragliding, climbing, etc.) Donkey rental in the hamlet of Raux (Queyr'ane rental), friendly companions who will carry your backpacks during your family hikes.
Italy is very close (16 km) reachable by road in summer via the Agnel pass (2744m) or by hiking via the St Véran pass -2844 meters-
