"A beautiful chateau with wonderful scenic surroundings and the river Tarn flowing alongside. A short walk from the chateau leads you down to the river’s edge where there is a pebble/sand beach. Again a lovely setting. Would have loved a seat there to enjoy the river and watching kayakers go by. This is one chateau I would return to again, and probably again! Loved it here. 😍"

Perfect stop just off the Motorway, in a village that far exceeded our expectations. A very warm welcome, nice room, great bathroom, and enjoyed a simple set menu in the hotel. A typical Logis de France, and just what we wanted. I'd recommend it."

"This is the worst property i have stayed at in a long time. We have been before and encountered the same problems but returned as we like the village. The rooms are not air conditioned which i accept is costly and difficult in an old building but surely fans could be put in each room. The TV remote did not work, there was no plug for the bath and the Wi-Fi did not work. The person on reception was less than helpful and was disinterested in helping. "Hotel Bel Horizon Pros - Comfortable king bed - Nice en-suite - Free parking on street - Rooms have central heating and ensuite has a heated towel rail. - Pleasant room with a small balcony Cons - Website states front desk open from 8am till 9pm - incorrect!! - Doors locked at 3.15pm on arrival Had to phone them to open up - No restaurant (as advertised by Hotels.com) - There was a bar. But permanently closed - No lift - and we were on the 2nd floor - Hotels.com reviews are misleading. To say this place is exceptional is rubbish. It’s a third rate hotel and the photos of the bar and restaurant are totally misleading. - Rooms are very basic with no kettle, tea or coffee making facilities to make your stay more comfortable. - Rooms are not air conditioned which may be uncomfortable in summer - No bar fridge which is always handy - Nothing to soften the blow. - Traffic noise is intrusive even with shutter down If you’re just looking for a B&B to spend the night this place may suit as the bed was a comfortable king. However you’re going to have to go out and find somewhere to have dinner. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment. "
